Hello Lovely People!

Today I am going to talk to you guys about one of my most recent collaborations with Tidal New York!  When they approached me i was a little skeptical because I really didn’t need another pair of flip flops. But I took a closer look at the company and I realized not only do they have some very cute and high quality flip flops but they also have a great cause.

Their motto is “do one thing better”.  Personally, I love this because even if you can’t be good at everything or change the world, you can work hard and “do one thing better”.  So what is the one thing they do better?  They hire and train veterans whenever possible by working with Heroes in Transition.  This is soooo amazing to me that they are supporting these men and women that fought for our country.  Often times when veterans come back from war their job is not waiting for them, so the fact that not only is Tidal New York willing to hire them if qualified but also train them to be qualified for a this job is pretty cool.  With that said their factory is located in America just outside New York City.  They don’t outsource any part of production to ensure the best quality possible.

So let’s talk about the actual flip flop:

I personally was never a rubber flip flop fan, I usually prefer leather.  The Tidal New York flip flops are actually 100% polyurethane which is the same type of material that sport shoes use so this makes them supper comfy.  I was also impressed by the arch support these guys had.  Although I am still super into  my leather flip flops I like to have these around to wear out with leggings to run errands or even to the beach!

If you like synthetic material flip flops, and super fun and summery designs I would definitely check Tidal New York out!  They are a cute and fun AND they also work towards helping veterans in need.

Until next time!
