Visiting My Instagram Boyfriend

Hey Lovely People!

This past weekend I went up to Washington to visit the boyfriend!  I hadn’t seen him since August so I was so excited to see him again.  It’s our last year in school and last year of long distance and let me tell you I will not miss being apart from him.

I went up the weekend after halloween so we were going to a costume party and I was sooo excited to finally wear my halloween costume that I had worked so hard to make.  We were a Sailor and a Mermaid and I got the inspo for the costume from here!  Let me tell you it was not the easiest thing to make especially since I don’t have a sewing machine and I don’t know how to sew.  Chris’s outfit was bought on amazon.

If you guys haven’t heard of the term “instagram boyfriend/husband”  you need to watch this video! Chris is always such a good sport whenever I need to get a photo of a product or if I want him to be in the photos.  I had to take a few photos of some unreleased goodies from Pura Vida and he was sooo helpful!

He even took me to one of the most photogenic places I’ve been to yet and stood out in the snow and took photos with me so I could document our trip.  If you ever get the chance to go Spokane, WA I highly recommend taking a short hike at Bowl and Pitcher.  When we went it was snowing and being from California I had never seen anything like it.

Now let’s talk about something even more important: THE FOOD.

Every time I visit he treats me to an amazing dinner at a restaurant called Anthony’s.  The food is amazing and it’s right by the river.  It’s our little version of a date night and I always appreciate being spoiled.  Another place that I got to go to was a little brewery called No Li the beer is amazing and their clam chowder was to die for!  We also went to brunch at this place called Bruncheonette and I would highly recommend ordering the tamale waffle! Seriously soooo good, I wish I had taken a photo.

Over all it was such an amazing trip and I am always so happy whenever I get to visit Chris.  Long distance is hard but I can definitely say that it’s worth it.
